End Network Headaches 18 Channel CWDM MUX DEMUX LGX Plastic Box
with Simplex BIDI for Low Loss Connectivity
This high-density 18-channel CWDM MUX/DEMUX module is engineered
for cost-effective wavelength division multiplexing in fiber-optic
networks. Housed in a lightweight LGX plastic enclosure, it
combines space-saving 1U rack-mount compatibility with durable,
corrosion-resistant design, ideal for budget-conscious deployments.
Featuring simplex BIDI (bidirectional) transmission, it enables
single-fiber operation, doubling fiber capacity and reducing
infrastructure costs for legacy systems.
Compliant with ITU-T grid standards, the module ensures precise
wavelength spacing across 18 channels (1271~1611nm) for seamless
compatibility with CWDM transceivers. With ultra-low insertion loss
(<1.5dB) and high channel isolation (>30dB), it maintains
signal integrity in metro access, enterprise networks, or FTTx
applications. The integrated design supports easy installation and
real-time monitoring without service disruption.
Optimized for scalability, this CWDM solution is perfect for
telecom operators, ISPs, and data centers seeking to expand
bandwidth on limited fiber resources. Keywords: 18-channel CWDM MUX/DEMUX, simplex BIDI transmission, LGX plastic
box, ITU grid, low insertion loss. Backed by rigorous testing, it meets industry certifications for
reliability in harsh environments.
Ideal for: Single-fiber network upgrades, cellular backhaul, and
high-capacity video distribution systems requiring compact,
plug-and-play wavelength management.
Simplex CWDM MUX and DEMUX
Multiplexer (MUX) and demultiplexer (DEMUX) are combined together
into a single piece of equipment for bi-directional data
transmission over one fiber.
Simplex Bi-Directional Transmission should be used in pairs,
MUX/DEMUX Portfor specific wavelength must be opposite CWDM
HJY CWDM Mux/Demux is a passive technology, it allows for any
protocol to be transported over the link, as long as it is at a
specific wavelength (i.e. T1 over fiber at 1570nm transported
alongside 10Gbps Ethernet at 1590nm). This allows for long-term
future proofing of the networking infrastructure because the
multiplexers simply refract light at any network speed, regardless
of the protocol being deployed.
HJY provides a complete portfolio of CWDM Mux Demux and Optical Add
Drop Multiplexer (OADM) units to suit all applications such as:
Gigabit & 10G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, ATM, ESCON, Fibre Channel, FTTx
and CATV. And we provide optional port configurations such as:
Express Port, Monitor Port, 1310nm passband port and 1550nm port
for these multiplexers according to customer choice.
Maximize Your Fiber with WDM Network
A single fiber can be shared for multiple different data or
services in WDM network. It maximizes the usefulness of fiber and
generates substantial savings.
Mix of Services Multiplexing at Any Rate
Flexible mix of 1G/10G/25G/40G/100G/200G Ethernet, 8G/16G FC, SAN,
OTN, SDH/SONET and native video services, it's transparent to any
rate, any service multiplexing and upgrade
